10. External Links and Embedded Content

The Website may contain links to or embedded content from third parties.

These may include book retailers, media platforms, social networks, universities, institutions, event organizers, and service providers.

A link or embed does not necessarily mean that we:

  • control the third party;
  • endorse all of its content;
  • guarantee its accuracy or availability; or
  • accept responsibility for its privacy, security, products, services, or transactions.

Your dealings with a third party are governed by that third party’s terms and policies.

The Website may direct visitors to external retailers, distributors, or marketplaces to purchase books.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

Information displayed on the Website does not guarantee availability or create a binding booking.

13. Educational and Professional Disclaimer

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

It is not a substitute for individualized:

  • legal advice;
  • financial advice;
  • medical or healthcare advice;
  • psychological advice;
  • academic supervision;
  • employment advice; or
  • professional consulting.

Cultural frameworks and examples are intended to support inquiry and reflection. They should not be used to stereotype individuals, assume that all members of a community behave alike, or treat culture as the sole explanation for human behavior.

You remain responsible for evaluating information and making decisions appropriate to your situation.

14. Accuracy and Availability

We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be:

  • complete;
  • current;

We disclaim warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nedlegs Incorporated, Ned Legaspi, and their officers, employees, contractors, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from:

  • misused the Website;
  • threatened Website security;
  • infringed intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
  • engaged in unlawful conduct.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Website, Knowledge Enterprise, or applicable requirements develop.

The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts or authorities of competent jurisdiction in the Philippines, subject to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply.
