From Studio Lights to Embassy Halls

After my presentation at SOAS University of London and before flying back home, I paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Ambassador Teddy Locsin at the Philippine Embassy in the UK.

Years ago, in my earlier career as a media professional, I served as Head Writer for two shows where he was one of the hosts. Meeting him again felt like a reunion across both time and careers.

This time, instead of scripts and studio lights, I shared with him the new path I’m taking as a Cultural Intelligence Consultant and about my upcoming book. He listened with interest, expressed support, and even opened the door to possible collaboration.

Maraming salamat, Ambassador, for bridging past and present, and for affirming that the work of storytelling continues, whether on screen, in books, or in diplomacy.
